Torrens University, known for its innovative and accessible education, is joining forces with Applejack Hospitality, a leading name in the hospitality industry, in an exciting collaboration. This partnership aims to prepare students for successful and impactful careers in hospitality.

Combining Applejack Hospitality’s expertise with Torrens University’s forward-thinking educational approach, students in the Hospitality course will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience through training at Applejack’s establishments across Sydney, guided by industry experts. The training will include guest lectures and workshops led by Applejack’s professionals, granting students unique insights into the operations of the hospitality world and a deeper grasp of its ever-changing nature.

Applejack’s Human Resources team also attended the Industry Connect Hospitality Career Expo at Torrens University Australia on 12th October 2023 where they had the opportunity to connect directly with students and recent graduates. The allowed them the opportunity to to potentially place young leaders and entrepreneurs, provide tips and advice to students and network with peers.

Following the career expo, Matthew Jenkins, Applejack’s Director of People and Culture, took the stage at Torrens University’s annual Leadership Speaker Series. The event revolved around the theme, “How to optimise your career in the coming 24 months?”.
