APPLEJACK x URBNSURF SYDNEY

Our newest Applejack destination is making waves with the crew from URBNSURF!

We’re the proud food and beverage partners for New South Wales revolutionary wave park – URBNSURF Sydney.

URBNSURF Sydney opened its doors in May, 2024. The 3.2-hectare site provides perfect waves all year round using Wavegarden Cove artificial wave generation technology, for more than 1000 visitors daily, making surfing more accessible for people of all ages, abilities, and backgrounds. Applejack are the food and beverage partner for the entire precinct, providing a variety of dining options onsite.

RAFI URBNSURF Sydney

Situated on the upper level, and accessible without entry into the surf park, the 165-seater restaurant features vast retractable windows and rooftop terrace, perfect to showcase the sweeping vistas of the park and its surroundings. Designed as an extension of the acclaimed hatted RAFI North Sydney brand, known for its elegance and commitment to quality, RAFI URBNSURF introduces a unique surf-inspired twist to its menu and ambiance

Reflecting the coastal elements of Sydney, interiors feature a tonal and pared-back design, inspired by the Northern Rivers. The restaurant offers guests breathtaking views of the park, with a menu celebrating freshness and seasonality, with a focus on responsibly sourced seafood, vegetables, grass-fed beef and lamb, all prepared over a charcoal grill to enjoy shared.

An adjoining rooftop terrace flows from the restaurant, both accessible to guests of the park and to the public, making the restaurant a destination for all to enjoy.

SANDY’S

Downstairs at URBNSURF Sydney, Sandy’s is a casual surfside all-day eatery, serving breakfast through to dinner, coffee to cocktails.

The all-day menu offers a range of classic breakfast dishes like avocado on toast, buttermilk pancakes and breakfast burritos, followed by a heartier lunch menu. The food is complemented by freshly brewed Calibrate Coffee, chilled drinks and carefully selected drops available all day – sandy feet are welcome!

Primarily an open air venue, the spacious outdoor terrace is perfectly placed to soak up the sunshine while watching surfers ride the waves.

Events & Experiences

In addition to RAFI and Sandy’s, Applejack will manage the ‘Surf Suite’, a multi-purpose events room with food and beverages catered by RAFI, for a total capacity of 170 people.

The luxurious, large open space is flooded with natural light and features high ceilings, offering unmatched wave pool and bush views that provide a stunning backdrop for any event. Capacity Sitdown: 110 people Cocktail: 170 people.

The room can be divided into 3 separate rooms, including a Private Dining Room, which is bathed in natural light and tucked away behind sliding doors. With panoramic views of the wave pool, the PDR is ideal for intimate events catering to both social and corporate groups. Capacity Seated: 30.

Other amenities include poolside Cabanas, a Surf Academy, a 20m leisure pool, retail store, and a health and wellness studio.
