APPLEJACK x URBNSURF SYDNEY

Our newest Applejack destination is making waves with the crew from URBNSURF!

We’re thrilled to announce a food and beverage partnership with URBNSURF Sydney, the first ever surf park in New South Wales.

Opening in Sydney Olympic Park in Autumn 2024, the 3.2-hectare site will provide perfect waves all year round using Wavegarden Cove artificial wave generation technology, for more than 1000 visitors daily, making surfing more accessible for people of all ages, abilities, and backgrounds. Applejack are the food and beverage partner for the entire precinct and will be providing a variety of dining options onsite.

RAFI URBNSURF Sydney

Sitting proudly on Level 1 of the main building, we welcome a second location for Applejack’s hatted restaurant, RAFI. The premium 200-person restaurant will maintain the brand ethos of its North Sydney counterpart, with a surf twist.

Reflecting the coastal elements of Sydney, interiors will feature a tonal and pared-back design, inspired by the Northern Rivers. The restaurant will offer guests breathtaking views of the park, and the menu will celebrate freshness and seasonality, with a focus on responsibly sourced seafood, vegetables, grass-fed beef and lamb, all prepared over a charcoal grill to enjoy shared.

An adjoining rooftop terrace will flow from the restaurant, both accessible to guests of the park and to the public, making the restaurant a destination for all to enjoy.

SANDY’S

Downstairs at URBNSURF Sydney, Applejack introduces Sandy’s, a casual surfside all-day eatery, serving breakfast through to dinner, coffee to cocktails.

Walk up bare foot from the lagoon and enjoy a grab and go snack, or eat-in and stay until sundown. Utilising organic and ethically sourced produce, hero afternoon dishes include crispy fish tacos and beef barbacoa burritos. Satisfy your surf thirst with frozen drinks, smoothies, juices, coffee using Calibrate Coffee beans, grab and go G&Ts, beer, cocktails, and wine on tap.

The eatery will be a hangout for wave watchers, surf spectators, and those looking for a pre surf feed and post-surf snacks and sips.

Events & Experiences

In addition to these culinary offerings, Applejack will manage the ‘Surf Suite’, a multi-purpose events room with food and beverages catered by RAFI, for a total capacity of 120 people.

The seven poolside Cabanas (hosting 10 people in each) and Cabana Lawn can host up to 800 people. The perfect spot for picnics and sundowners with the lawn set up with games, beanbags, and live music sessions.

Lastly, Applejack and URBNSURF welcome ‘The Hill’ – an immersive event space adjacent to the lagoon for large scale events including live music, shows, unique sporting events, and more.

Other amenities include a Surf Academy, a 20m leisure pool and 8m kids pool, playground, surf-skate park, retail store, and a health and wellness studio.
